Built on the foundation of Xtenders’ long-standing expertise, Xquip focuses exclusively on the design, engineering, and installation of custom accessories for superyachts.
From swimming and boarding solutions to tender handling and lifting systems, every product is engineered with precision, built to last, and tailored to the specific requirements of each vessel. 2014
Founding Xtenders
After years of experience in building state of the art Extreme 40 sailing catamarans, Herbert Dercksen brings the cutting edge autoclave technology to the market of super yacht tenders: Xtenders.
2018
Founding Xquip
Xquip was founded out of a growing demand for swim ladders and awnings for tenders. What started as a focused response to that gap has grown into a full range of carbon fibre and stainless steel deck equipment, built for the superyacht industry's largest and most demanding yards.
2020
Growing into deck equipment
Driven by continued growth, Xquip invested in product development beyond swim ladders and awnings, moving into a broader range of deck equipment. Fenders, stanchions, and gangways followed, built with the same standards as our original products and engineered for the same demanding yards.
2023
Building for scale
As the product range grew, so did the need for structure. Xquip focused on strengthening its internal organisation and operational efficiency, streamlining production and processes to deliver consistent quality at a more competitive price without compromising on the standards our clients expect.
